Kimerly Bolan, Kindergarten Teaching Assistant

Personal Profile
I grew up in Richmond BC where I attended Richmond Christian until grade 4. My family then moved to Ladner where I attended Delta Christian for grades 5-7. For high school, I attended Fraser Valley Christian High in Surrey. Ladner Christian Reformed Church has been my home church since moving to Ladner. I have taught Sunday School for more than ten years, enjoy visiting the elderly, and regularly attend Bible study. During my spare time, I enjoy reading, biking, swimming, and playing board games with friends and family.

Professional Profile
I spent four years at The Kings University College where I received my BA in Theology and Education. After I graduated from college, I spent a year teaching English to kindergarteners in China. Since then I have taught in preschools, daycares, and junior kindergarten in various places in the lower mainland.

I have been a Sunday School leader at Ladner Christian Reformed Church where I love sharing Bible stories, and helping children learn about Christ’s love.

I look forward to a new chapter here at Delta Christian School and belonging to a great community.

Philosophical Profile
Ever since I was a little girl I have wanted to become a teacher in a Christian setting. I feel blessed that I can help influence and guide the students about God and his incredible love for us all. I want to help the children realize their God given gifts and help them to develop these gifts and use them throughout their lives. I believe children thrive when teachers are passionate about what they believe and teach, and it is my hope to show my passion here at DCS. Specifically, I enjoy contributing my love of literature, felt stories, and songs and look forward to bringing these to the classroom.
