Muriel Wells, Kindergarten Teacher
I have lived in the Lower Mainland my entire life and I graduated from Matthew McNair Senior Secondary School in Richmond. I went to a year of Bible School at Capernwray Harbour Bible Centre and then went to UBC and SFU to get my BSc and teaching certificate. I taught secondary school for five years before becoming a stay-at-home mom.
I have lived in Ladner for most of my adult life as my husband and I found it was such a great community to raise our family in. My two younger children came over to DCS to complete elementary school in 2009. I have been part of the community ever since, as a parent volunteer, then as a library staff member, office administrative assistant, and now as a teacher! I have always enjoyed being part of this community.
I really enjoy helping people which is why I work in a school setting. I feel called to do this by God and I find it very rewarding to help kids become independent and thoughtful citizens.
